Singer to return to X-Men
Speaking at the South Korea's Pusan International Film Festival, Singer revealed that he has been in talks with executives about the possibility of returning, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
"I'm still looking to possibly returning to the X-Men franchise - I've been talking to Fox about it," he told the magazine.
Singer chose to direct Superman Returns, rather than work on the third instalment of the franchise, X-Men: The Last Stand. It was directed by Brett Ratner instead while Gavin Hood helmed the franchise's spin-off, X-Men Origins: Wolverine, which was in cinemas earlier this year.
Singer also revealed that he enjoyed working with the X-Men cast, in particular Hugh Jackman, the Australian actor who plays Wolverine.
X-Men also stars Sir Ian McKellan as Magneto, Patrick Stewart as Professor Charles Xavier, Halle Berry as Storm and James Marsden as Cyclops.
