Michael Jackson film tops UK box office
Box office figures show that the movie took £4.9 million over last weekend, while worldwide the film made $104 million (£63.4 million) in the first five days after its release.
Up, the Disney animation about a house that flies away, lost the top spot and dropped to number two, while Fantastic Mr Fox, a stop motion film based on Roald Dahl's book of the same name, remained in third place.
Saw IV fell two places to number four and Cirque Du Freak: The Vampire's Assistant remained unchanged at number five.
Limited release film An Education opened at number eight, making an average of £3,950 per cinema compared to Fantastic Mr Fox's £3,199 per cinema.
The US box office top five were This is It, Paranormal Activity, Law Abiding Citizen, Couples Retreat and Where the Wild Things Are.
