Hopkins following Waterman lead
While he hasn't been doing dodgy deals for Arthur Daley, Sir Anthony has been behaving like Waterman's caricature in hit UK comedy Little Britain, who insists on starring in the show, writing the feem tune and singing the feem tune.
Although Sir Anthony wasn't required to prove his Welsh credentials by putting his vocal cords to the test, he has taken on the mammoth task of writing, directing and starring in the film, as well as composing the music.
Helping to ease Hopkins' workload in the film, Slipstream, will be Christian Slater (Broken Arrow, True Romance, Mobsters) and Gena Rowlands (The Skeleton Key, Wild Iris, Paulie).
The production will tell the tale of an ageing screenwriter whose re-writing of a murder mystery blurs the line between reality and fantasy.
