Banksy film premieres at Sundance
Although the graffiti artist did not attend the premier of the film, Banksy has made sure his presence was felt in Utah.
Five stencilled works by the artist appeared in Utah's Park City ahead of the airing of Exit Through the Gift Shop.
The film, which is narrated by British actor Rhys Ifans, tells the story of an eccentric French shop keeper and amateur filmmaker who wants to meet the illusive Banksy.
John Cooper, director of the Sundance Film Festival, said: "Exit Through the Gift Shop is one of those films that comes along once in a great while, a warped hybrid of reality and self-induced fiction while at the same time a totally entertaining experience."
Last year, the Sundance Film Festival Grand Jury Prize went to Precious: Based on the Novel 'Push' by Sapphire.
The film, which stars Mariah Carey, also took the Audience Award for best drama.
