Alice in Wonderland still top in UK

Fantasy flick Alice in Wonderland has topped the UK box office for the third week.

Directed by Tim Burton, the 3D epic took £4.8 million over the weekend.

The Bounty Hunter, its nearest rival, debuted at the second spot after taking £2.05 million.

Starring Gerard Butler and Jennifer Aniston, the film tells the story of a bounty hunter who is tasked with bringing in his ex-wife for skipping bail.

Last week's number two, Shutter Island, fell one place to three, while new entry I Love You Philip Morris opened at four.

Action thriller Green Zone, starring Matt Damon and Yigal Naor, fell two places to five. The Spy Next Door debuted at six.

James Cameron's Avatar also dropped three places, falling to seven, while The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo fell from six to eight.

Hachi: A Dog's Tale and The Princess and the Frog rounded off the list.
