The Voyage of the Dawn Treader to show at royal premiere

The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader is to premiere at this year's Royal Film Performance.

Starring Ben Barnes, Skandar Keynes, Georgie Henley and Simon Pegg, the film will get its world premiere in the presence of members of the royal family and the movie's cast and crew in late November.

The premiere is the principal fundraising events for the Cinema and Television Benevolent Fund (CTBF), the trade charity for UK film and TV industries.

CTBF chief executive Brian Robertson told Digital Spy he was thrilled that the charity was able to host the royal and World Premiere of the "highly anticipated film".

"This will be a landmark event attended by members of the royal family, an acclaimed British cast and this will be the first ever Royal Film Performance in digital 3D. We are grateful to 20th Century Fox and to the royal family for their continued support of this important fundraising event."
