Johansson and Hartnett 'to shack up'
The pair, who are rumoured to be conducting a secret romance, have shelled out for a $6 million (£3.2 million) loft home in New York, according to the US magazine Life and Style.
A real estate insider claims Johansson, 21, and lover Hartnett, 28, purchased the property after house hunting in the city's trendy Tribeca neighbourhood.
It seems that the supposed lovebirds are so keen to keep their relationship quiet that they requested that the bedrooms in their new home be soundproofed.
The unnamed source told Life and Style: "They asked that we change the design to include extra insulation between the bedrooms of the penthouse and the unit next door."
The condominium reportedly bought by Johansson and Hartnett is said to have three bedrooms, two bathrooms and two balconies.
Life and Style claims that a few days after viewing the property, Johansson and Hartnett were spotted discussing floor plans in a local cafe with the actress' father.
Hartnett's publicist has dismissed the rumour, insisting that the celebrity couple are not moving in together.
The Hollywood Homicide star will soon be appearing as officer 'Bucky' Bleichert in Brian De Palma's adaptation of James Ellroy's novel The Black Dahlia.
