Justin Bieber movie 'set to inspire people'
According to the 16-year-old, the film, which is called Justin Bieber: Never Say Never, will show people that "the sky's the limited" if they work hard enough.
"I want to let people know there's a lot of people that are discouraging in life and that will tell you you can't do something, but [you've] just got to remember that the sky's the limit," he told MTV.
Director Jon Chu added the film will focus on "an interesting sort of pass between his real life to his music".
He added that in the trailer, he will show each step it took the singer to succeed.
Chu is best known for his work on Step Up 3D, Step Up 2: The Streets and When the Kids are Away.
Justin Bieber: Never Say Never will be released on April 1st 2011.
Bieber has sung on the soundtrack of a number of films, including The Karate Kid.
