Tangled ends Harry Potter's magic spell at US box office
Tangled, which features the voices of Mandy Moore, Zachary Levi, Donna Murphy and Ron Perlman, and focuses on the story of long-haired Princess Rapunzel, rose from last week's number two to claim the top spot over the weekend.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 slipped one place to two, while Burlesque, starring Cher, Christina Aguilera and Alan Cumming, climbed from four to three.
Unstoppable was another riser, making its way from five to four, with Love & Other Drugs moving from six to five.
Megamind slipped three spots to six, while Due Date and Faster took the seventh and eighth spot.
Fantasy western The Warrior's Way was a new entry at nine, ahead of The Next Three Days which took the tenth place.
