Jeff Bridges: I'd like a Starman sequel
Jeff Bridges has revealed that he would like a sequel to his 1984 movie Starman to be made.
Speaking to HitFix, the Oscar-winning actor admitted that he often wonders what might have happened where the film, which focuses on an alien taking the form of a woman's dead husband, stops off.
The film, which also starred Karen Allen and Charles Martin Smith, saw Bridges nominated for the best actor Oscar.
He told the news provider: "Starman, what happened there? That's kind of set up. Karen Allen is preggers. She's got that little ball and stuff. What's up with that?"
The star also revealed that he is unlikely to reprise the role of The Dude in The Big Lebowski, but added he would like to play The Last Picture Show's Duane Jackson for a third time.
Although Bridges didn't take home an Oscar for Starman, the actor won the award this year for his role in Crazy Heart.
