Ciaran Hinds: Harry Potter actors were impressive
Ciaran Hinds has said he learned new skills from Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint when starring in the final Harry Potter film.
Speaking to Daily Record, the actor, who took on the role of Albus Dumbledore's brother Abeforth in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2, said that working on the film was "bizarre".
"I'll tell you, being on set on Harry Potter was nerve-wracking. It was surreal to be in a room with those three kids, all of whom know exactly what they're doing," he said.
The Munich and Road to Perdition star added that despite his years of experience, it was the young actors who put him at ease and ensured he knew what he was doing on set.
Hinds, who will next be seen in The Rite, has previously won a number of awards, including the best actor accolade at the Tribeca Film Festival for 2009's The Eclipse.
