Black Swan and Inception up for WGA awards
Black Swan and Inception are among the films which have received nominations for this year's Writers Guild of America (WGA) Awards.
Writers Mark Heyman, Andres Heinz and John McLaughlin are up for the original screenplay accolade for Black Swan, which is due to be released on January 21st, while Christopher Nolan has been nominated for summer hit Inception.
Other films in the category include The Fighter, written by Scott Silver, Paul Tamasy, Eric Johnson and Keith Dorrington, Nicole Holofcener's Please Give, and The Kids Are All Right, by Lisa Cholodenko and Stuart Blumberg.
Films up for best adapted award include 127 Hours, I Love You Philip Morris, The Social Network, The Town and True Grit.
Enemies of the People, Freedom Riders, Gasland and Inside Jobs are among the documentary screenplays nominated, along with The Two Escobars and Who Is Harry Nilsson.
Last year's winners included The Hurt Locker and Up in the Air.
