Gwyneth Paltrow: I'm proud of Country Strong
Gwyneth Paltrow has said that she is very proud of her new film Country Strong.
In the film, the Se7en actress takes on the role of Kenny Canter, a country music singer with an addiction problem.
Canter meets a rising songwriter, played by Garrett Hedlund, and together they plan her comeback.
Speaking to On The Red Carpet, the star said she was very happy to be at the premiere of the film, which also stars Tim McGraw and Leighton Meester, as she has a special connection with the movie.
"I'm really proud of this film and I'm really proud of the work and performances, so it's great to be here," she added.
The film, which will be released in the UK on March 25th, sees Oscar-winning Paltrow perform a number of songs.
It has already received a Golden Globe nomination, with the song Coming Home up for the Best Original Song – Motion Picture award.
