More accolades for Shrek 2The sequel this summer beat blockbuster titans Spider-Man 2, Van Helsing and fellow CGI-animated comedy Shark's Tale to become the highest-grossing film of 2004 so far. No surprise then, that the film is doing well in the People's Choice Awards, which are voted for by the people that matter - the fans. Shrek 2, the biggest grossing US box office hit since James Cameron's Oscar-winning Titanic, received nominations for favourite movie, favourite comedy and favourite animation among others. Other notable nominations include a nod to Bush-baiting Michael Moore for his controversial documentary Fahrenheit 9/11, while Spider-Man 2, The Incredibles and Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind complete the list of potential favourite film winners. Final winners are to be chosen by an online vote at the People's Choice website and announced at a live ceremony on 9th January. Titles related to this articleRelated/similar articles
