Gere 'to replace Pacino' in Arbitrage
Richard Gere is set to step into Al Pacino's shoes - he's reportedly lined up to take over the Godfather star's role in new movie Arbitrage.
Pacino dropped out of his part as a hedge fund manager selling off his empire in the upcoming thriller, and Gere is the main contender to replace him, according to Deadline.com.
The movie, which also stars Susan Sarandon and Bond girl Eva Green, begins shooting in New York in April (11) and is due for release next year (12).
