Gnomeo & Juliet reclaims top spot at box office

Gnomeo & Juliet has returned to the top of the box office, knocking last week's number one from the spot.

The 3D animation, which features the voices of James McAvoy, Emily Blunt and Maggie Smith, is based on Shakespeare's classic tale and features a cast of garden gnomes.

Simon Pegg and Nick Frost's Paul slipped from number one to two.

New film I Am Number Four opened at three. Starring Alex Pettyfer, Timothy Olyphant and Dianna Agron, the flick tells the story of an extraordinary teen who is masking his real identity in a bid to elude an enemy who wants to destroy him.

Yogi Bear also moved up the list, rising from six to four, while last week's number seven, Tangled, claimed the fifth spot this week.

Oscar-winning film The King's Speech fell from three to six, with Big Mommas: Like Father, Like Son claiming the fifth place.

No Strings Attached was a new entry at eight, while True Grit and West is West rounded off the top ten.
