Bonnie Wright: I found Devil Wears Prada scene grating
The 20-year-old star, who plays Ginny Weasley in the films based on J K Rowling's children's books, said she wasn't impressed when The Devil Wears Prada referenced Harry Potter.
In the movie, Meryl Streep's character Miranda Priestly told her assistant, played by Anne Hathaway, to get her a copy of the published, final book in Rowling's series.
Speaking to Nylon, Wright said the cast never had access to the books.
"Actually, the most grating thing I've ever seen in a movie is in The Devil Wears Prada, when those two little kids get the Harry Potter books ahead of time," she said, adding it would never happen.
Wright, who is currently filming Geography of the Hapless Heart, will next be seen in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 – the final film in the series which is being released on July 15th.
