Shia LaBeouf: We didn't have a script for Transformers 2
There was no script for the second Transformers film, according to Shia LaBeouf.
LaBeouf starred alongside Megan Fox and Josh Duhamel in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, which was released in 2009.
The actor plays Sam Witwicky in the franchise, which kicked off with 2007's Transformers.
In Revenge of the Fallen, viewers join Witwicky as he leaves the Autobots behind for a normal life, but after his mind is filled with cryptic symbols, he is dragged back into the Transformers' war.
Speaking to E Online, the actor said he wasn't surprised that the second film failed to impress critics.
"We didn't have a script the second time! It was like a two-hour SNL skit with explosions. We were sort of riffing," he added.
However, the actor said he is confident that the third film will be better received, adding that he believes they are likely to reboot the franchise sometime in the future with a new star.
Transformers: Dark of the Moon will be released on June 29th and stars LaBeouf, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Tyrese Gibson.
