2 stars out of 5.0
Iconic script-writer Lawrence Kasdan is set to pen a modern remake of the classic Clash Of The Titans, bringing the film into the current millennium after its original release in 1981.

Telling the classic Greek mythological tale of Perseus and his episodic adventures, Clash of the Titans is tipped to be one of Hollywood's upcoming big releases, already creating a buzz among film fans looking for another Kasdan hit.

Kasdan, the man responsible for classic dialogue in The Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi and Raiders of the Lost Ark, is also reported to write The Risk Pool in 2008, alongside Tom Hanks. In addition to writing Kasdan will direct and produce the film.

A director and cast are yet to be confirmed for the Clash of the Titans. The 1981 film starred Harry Hamlin in the lead role as well as Laurence Olivier as Zeus.
