Anjelica Huston and Sam Rockwell to Choke

4 stars out of 5.0
A new adaptation of a Chuck Palahniuk novel is to star Anjelica Huston and Sam Rockwell, it emerged yesterday.

Entitled Choke, it tells the story of a con artist who funds his mother's medical care by deliberately choking in restaurants, all the while being a love addict who finds himself falling for a doctor.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Rockwell is to play the central character with the mother portrayed by Huston.

While Rockwell's name may not sound familiar to many, movie fans might recognise him from The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Confessions of a Dangerous Mind and Matchstick Men.

The film will be another adaptation of Palahniuk's work, following the cult hit Fight Club in 1999, which starred Brad Pitt and Edward Norton as antagonistic men set on building a world organisation to fight aggression.
