Boogie Nights is ten years old

4 stars out of 5.0
Anyone who was not quite old enough to enjoy Boogie Nights the first time around might want to rent out the DVD to celebrate the film's tenth anniversary.

Starring Mark Wahlberg and Heather Graham among a host of other talented actors, the movie charts the rise of a young man making a name for himself in the 1970s film industry.

As reported on Ain't It Cool News, a screening of Boogie Nights is set to take place in Los Angeles this weekend, ten years after its initial release.

Since that time, most of the cast has stayed in the limelight with each being widely regarded as some of the most versatile actors in Hollywood.

Don Cheadle has starred in films such as Ocean's Eleven, Twelve and Thirteen, while buffs may recognise John C Reilly from titles such as The Perfect Storm, The Good Girl, The Aviator and Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby.

Director Paul Thomas Anderson also followed his Boogie Nights success with ensemble drama Magnolia and unusual romantic comedy Punch-Drunk Love.
