Narnia sequel 'to be darker'
According to film magazine Empire, this time around, the title character is to be played by "brooding" actor Ben Barnes - who the magazine fancies will be a hit with the girls.
The plot sees Peter, Lucy, Susan and Edmund return to the magical land of Narnia, to discover that 1,300 years have gone by since their last visit and a new evil king has taken control.
The kids must defeat King Miraz in order to help restore Ben Barnes' Prince Caspian to the throne.
Naturally the regal lion Aslan, played by Liam Neeson, also features in the flick in order to provide assistance to the goodies.
According to Cinematical, Narnia fans spent over $730 million (£365 million) in watching the first instalment of the fantasy series.
