Dame Judi Dench speaks out about new romance
Dame Judi Dench has opened up about her relationship with a British conservationist following the death of her husband in 2001, insisting it is "very nice" to have company at home.
The veteran actress was left devastated when her partner of 30 years, Michael Williams, passed away following a battle with lung cancer.
Dench sparked speculation of a blossoming romance last year (11) when she was photographed with wildlife expert David Mills, and has now confirmed she has a new man in her life.
She tells Yours magazine, "When you've been widowed a long time it's very, very nice to have the company of somebody.
"It doesn't have to be a great, passionate sexual affair but it's nice to have someone who says, 'I'll find your keys for you,' or, 'Let's go to the theatre tonight.' Very nice."
