No Country for Old Men tops 2007 movie poll
Starring Josh Brolin and Tommy Lee Jones, the complex plot involves heroin, murder and millions of dollars secretly stashed in Texas.
Transformers started the list at number 50, followed by similar big-budget action flicks such as I Am Legend and 300 all of which were voted into the top 50 best films of 2007.
Michael Moore's latest documentary Sicko was voted the 34th best movie of the year, while new Ang Lee drama Lust, Caution occupied number 32.
However, it was the comedy genre that seemed to fill up the top end of the chart, with titles such as Superbad, Knocked Up and Hot Fuzz all making into the upper end of the 50 favourites.
Thrillers including Eastern Promises and Zodiac also proved popular with voters, as did fantasy sequel Harry Potter and the Order of The Phoenix, which was 25th.
George Clooney in legal drama Michael Clayton was placed at 8, followed by Ratatouille, Once, The Bourne Ultimatum, 3:10 to Yuma, Atonement and Juno the last of which is due to hit UK cinemas this winter.
