French and Sunders have Lulu in stitches

Lulu has been injured while filming an episode for the new series of "French and Saunders".

The comedy duo are famous for their movie take-offs and have plans to do scenes lampooning "Troy" and "Pulp Fiction" in their new shows.

But while filming their version of Quentin Tarantino's iconic film they shot Lulu.

The singer said: "It all went slightly wrong in rehearsal.

"I was bleeding and had to go to hospital and have stitches. I still have the scars."

But the comediennes did their best to make up for it.

They sent Lulu a present - silver jewellery engraved with the words "We shot Lulu", and "Sorry".
