Stallone brings Rambo back to life
Stallone will return as John Rambo, in Rambo IV, some 17 years after his last appearance in the action-packed movie Rambo III.
The Hollywood hard man managed to clock up five films for Rocky, and now he appears to be trying to emulate this feat with the Rambo franchise, even at the age of 58.
Stallone said: "I've signed the deal and I have the old headband, machine gun and bow and arrow ready to go. I am looking forward to showing movie fans the real action hero again."
Stallone's cinema output has slowed in recent years, after his popularity in the mid 1990s which saw him churn out films such as Cliffhanger, Demolition Man, The Specialist, Judge Dredd and Assassins.
However, he is to start filming soon for Notorious, a screenplay he wrote about rap stars Notorious B.I.G and Tupac Shakur, and he also recently announced his plans to write and direct a biopic of American writer Edgar Allen Poe.
