Stiller and De Niro return for Fockers sequelAccording to the Hollywood Reporter, the third instalment in the franchise - which is being penned by John Hamburg - will focus on the children of Gaylord "Greg" Focker and his wife Pam Byrnes. The couple portrayed by Stiller and Teri Polo are still desperately trying to please their disapproving father-in-law Jack, played again by Robert De Niro. It is thought that Owen Wilson, who had cameos in the first two films as Pam's ex-lover Kevin Rawley, will take a more substantial role in the new movie. Peyton Reed, David Wain and Paul Weitz are all being considered to helm the project, as original director Jay Roach is unable to return due to scheduling issues. The first two instalments in the "Fockers" franchise have earned more than $800 million (£700 million) worldwide. Titles related to this articleRelated/similar articles
