Avoid - go for Larry David or Mike Leigh instead.

Disappointing flop - I thought it started ok, with a bit of a tense uncomfortable atmosphere, but it got more and more unbelievable, and the uninspired direction was amazing... it didn't have the intensity of a closed-in stage production, not used any filmic techniques to add a dimension.
Characters and dialogue were stereotypes, and the acting was just better than ok until everyone suddenly got drunk on a tiny (unmotivated) spash of whisky, at which point the acting turned am-dram. The film got worse as it went on and while never really AWFUL, it was a missed opportunity, though the original script probably lost something in translation.
