The King's Speech review
16th November 2010
On the face of it, you could be put off at thought of spending nearly 2 hours listing to someone stuttering their way through endless speech therapy lessons. However, unlike Colin Firth's last movie, A Single Man, which was a much more lightweight affair, this has real substance.
Within a short time, you really feel for the traumas that King George must have gone through.
Geoffrey Rush is spot on as the unconventional Aussie speech therapist.
Deserves at least a Bafta and maybe even an Oscar
