With work on his next movie, Jack The Giant Killer heading towards completion, Bryan Singer has been considering what lies ahead, namely the Battalestar Galactica film adaptation.
Singer had been linked to the King Arthur reboot Excalibur, however Warner Bros. has reportedly shut down that venture, for now.
Far from being disappointed, Singer appears upbeat since the end of Excalibur spells the beginning of the sci-fi flick Battlestar Galactica.
In an interview with SFX Singer said: “Another King Arthur project was brought to them during that time....When that happened, it allowed me to go straight into developing Battlestar Galactica which I think will be really exciting."
The Usual Suspects director has not revealed anything further regarding his plans for the film but, with Bryan on board, we're sure it's going to be a great adaptation of the TV series.
Meanwhile, there is talk that he could reprise his directorial duties on the next X-Men movie, after making the first two films back in 2000 and 2003.
