Charlize Theron is currently in the early stages of negotiations to star and produce crime thriller, Cities of Refuge.
The script for the detective movie, by Brandon Willer, has been picked up by production company Inferno Entertainment.
It is expected that Charlize will play an investigator, recruited to unravel a brutal murder and kidnapping.
The film will be produced by Benderspink and Tower Hill Production. If talks with Theron go successfully, she will co-produce alongside Beth Kono from Theron’s very own Denver and Delilah Productions.
Producing is starting to become a familiar role for Theron who previously starred and co-produced 2003 hit, Monster as well as Young Adult, which is set to hit our screens in early 2012.
The actress has recently finished filming Ridley Scott’s Prometheus, as well as signing up for George Miller’s Mad Max: Fury Road, set for production next spring.
