The Expendables 2 is adding two more big names to its star studded line-up, with the arrival of Chuck Norris and John Travolta.
Travolta and Norris are confirmed to join the A-list ranks of Bruce Willis, Sylvester Stallone, Jet Li, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Mickey Rourke, Jason Statham and Jean Claude Van Damme.
Another new addition to the film is Con Air Simon West, who will be replacing Sylvester Stallone as director while Sly takes a back seat to star in the sequel.
With high hopes that this follow-up will pack more wallop than its predecessor, producer David Varod, CEO at Nu Boyana Studios, told news website Novanite: “I believe the sequel will be better than the first movie."
At this stage details are thin on the ground but it is believed that Van Damme and Willis will play the villains of the piece.
The Expendables sequel is set to start shooting in the second week of September, and is aiming to be released in August next year.
