Horror director Eli Roth is branching out into new ways of terrifying people by designing a ride based on his twisted nail-biter, Hostel.
The director will borrow frightening elements from his 2005 movie for the ride, including a maze where fans will get the chance to experience their favourite Hostel scenes.
Roth told Variety: "Creating a maze for Halloween Horror Nights is a horror fan's dream come true.
“I've been visiting Halloween Horror Nights for years, and still remember the heart-pounding terror of going through the mazes for the first time.”
Not just a director, Roth has also made a name for himself as a producer on several projects, namely joining Quentin Tarantino as a producer on Hostel.
The ride will follow previous events, based on Friday the 13th the Saw franchise, as part of Universal Studios’ famous Halloween Horror Nights.
Halloween Horror Nights take place every year at the US theme park from 23 September to 31 October.
