Explicit Version of The Hangover 2 Trailer Causing A Stir

The Hangover Part II is already causing trouble over an explicit scene involving a monkey simulating a sex act.

A trailer for the R-rated film was shown at the opening of PG-13 Source Code without approval from the Motion Picture Association of America - the organisation which rates films released in the US.

The trailer has since been pulled from cinemas.

Warner Bros, the studio behind the sequel, stated, “In our haste to meet the placement schedule for this trailer, we failed to properly vet the final version with the MPAA. We acted immediately to correct the mistake and removed the trailer from screens.”

A revised version of the trailer will debut later before the premiere of Scream 4, while the pulled trailer can still be found online.

The Hangover Part II reteams original director Todd Phillips with cast members Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms and Zach Galifianakis.

This time the boys are in Bangkok for the wedding of Ed Helms’s character. They wake up the morning after their stag night with no memory of the night before.

The film will be released on 27 May 2011.
