Kate Beckinsale Joining Colin Farrell In Total Recall Reboot?
Kate Beckinsale is rumoured to be in the running for the role of Lori in a planned reboot of the 1990 Arnold Schwarzenegger movie, Total Recall.
According to Deadline, director Len Wiseman - who is married to Beckinsale - has yet to confirm which Hollywood actress will take over Sharon Stone’s part, but it looks increasingly likely that his wife could be joining the project.
Jessica Biel was previously linked to the film, but the rumours fell flat, paving the way for the Underworld actress to step into Stone’s shoes for the remake.
Beckinsale is also said to have expressed an interest in the part of Melina (originally Rachel Ticotin), which actresses Eva Mendes and Rosario Dawson are respectively linked to. Colin Farrell is already confirmed as Douglas Quaid for the film, which is slated for an August 2012 release.
Wiseman and Beckinsale worked together on the Underworld films, before falling in love and marrying. Beckinsale was also married to Brit actor Michael Sheen.
