For some time now we've known about Marvel's intentions to make several films surrounding The Avengers, and now details about an Avengers sequel have emerged.
Marvel’s film chief, Kevin Feige recently announced definite plans of a sequel, hot on the trail of Iron Man 3: “(This is) what we refer to as Phase Two of this Avengers Assemble talk, which will lead to an Avengers 2. These movies will be a part of that”.
He was also keen to disclose that the sequel will have a new line-up that will see various other superheroes from the Marvel universe joining the already impressive squad.
Feige added: “That’s the fun of it - introducing new characters. Seeing how will things change after Iron Man goes through his next adventure.
"After Thor goes through his next adventure. If we do another Cap adventure, how will things change? The dynamic between them...So that the dynamic in Avengers 2 is actually quite different than it is in the first one.”
The whole idea about how each individual character will affect the mechanics of the world in The Avengers films, is a very interesting and unique concept.
The first Avengers film is set to release in April 2012.
