Producers Grant Hill and Stefan Arndt have announced that Cloud Atlas will begin filming 16 September, with a star-studded line-up attached.
Academy Award winners Tom Hanks and Halle Berry have been cast in the lead roles as Dr. Henry Goose and Meronym.
While heavyweights Hugh Grant, Susan Sarandon and Jim Broadbent, provide additional credence to the A-list cast.
Cloud Atlas originally a bestselling novel by David Mitchell will be adapted by The Wachowskis brothers (The Matrix Trilogy) and Tykwer (Run Lola Run, The International).
Their alliance began a number of years ago and will be reinforced by award nominated producers Grant Hill (V for Vendetta) and Stefan Arndt, with Phillip Lee and Uwe Schott serving as executive producers.
