Jackson tops dance film survey
Michael Jackson has topped a poll of the greatest dance moments ever captured on film.
The King of Pop's creepy routine in the horror-themed promo for his 1984 track Thriller beat out competition from the cast of High School Musical and their performance of We're All In This Together.
Third place in the Disney Channel survey went to dancer Tobias Mead's jaw-dropping audition for TV show Britain's Got Talent in 2010, and Jackson's iconic Smooth Criminal routine came fourth. Hannah Montana's Hoedown Throwdown and Beyonce's Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It) promo are joint fifth in the poll.
Jackson was also named the King of Dance, ahead of JLS, High School Musical star Zac Efron, and singer-turned-actor Justin Timberlake.
