Superstar Diana Ross was left in awe during a recently taped episode of The Oprah Winfrey Show after she was reunited with her Mahogany co-star Billy Dee Williams, 35 years after the movie was released.

The iconic singer/actress, 66, sat down for the first time with her five children and her grandson for a TV special with Winfrey, and the media mogul took Ross back in time when she surprised her by introducing Williams to the stage.

Appearing on the show, which aired in the U.S. on Friday, Ross gasped, "Are you kidding me?" before warmly embracing the actor, saying, "Where have you been?"

The old pals reminisced about the first project they worked on together, 1972's Lady Sings the Blues, starring Ross as Billy Holiday in the biopic.

And Ross revealed her Motown boss and then-lover, Berry Gordy, would often let his jealous side shine through during the shoot, in which Williams portrayed Holiday's lover, Louis McKay.

She said, "We worked really, really well together. (But) every time he would go to kiss me, Berry Gordy would drag me away. Berry would drag him away saying, 'OK, that's enough, enough!'"
