Turner and Buscemi volunteer on Thanksgiving
Hollywood stars Kathleen Turner and Steve Buscemi gave up their Thanksgiving holiday on Thursday (24Nov11) to serve up hot meals to the needy in New York.
The Romancing the Stone actress joined volunteers at the Peter Cardella Senior Center in Queens, while Buscemi dished up dinners to the poor at the Park Slope Christian Help kitchen near his home in Brooklyn.
The Boardwalk Empire star also showed off his juggling skills to keep children at the centre entertained, according to the New York Daily News.
Turner and Buscemi weren't the only celebrities to spread a little festive cheer this Thanksgiving - actresses Zoe Saldana and Jennifer Love Hewitt and socialite Kim Kardashian also helped officials at the Los Angeles Mission provide food for the homeless on Wednesday (23Nov11), the eve of the American holiday.
