Brief synopsis of Storm Warning

From the director of Urban Legend comes this terrifying trip into the depths of human depravity. When a storm forces a couple to land their sailboat far ashore, they stumble upon a remote island inhabited by a demented father and his psychotic sons. Captured, beaten and sexually enslaved, the couple turns the tables in a bloody fight for survival. Featuring some of the most intensely brutal scenes imaginable, Storm Warning never lets up as it builds toward a shocking finish.

...it's also shot with a lot of style, edited with a lot of kick, and (best of all) it knows just when to deliver its goods and roll the credits

I was very impressed with this horror....i was very nearly put off by the fact it was directed by the twerp responsible for the nothing but terrible Urban Legend, but there is definitely more input from the makers of Wolf Creek in the Australian extreme horror film.

It is different from other gorefests in that nothing much happens for the majority of the film...i think it was 45/50mins in before the film was worthy of it's 'extreme' label! But this is all to build up the suspense in what i can only describe as an ending that is certainly not for the faint hearted!!

This was so bad, I wanted it to end so bad, I reverted to the fast forward button.

Even then, it felt overly long.

Quite a short film by today's standards (1h20m). Film title is a bit misleading and its a bit formulaic but it was a not bad watch.

This is a dreadful film. Bad acting, bad special effects with what could have been a good story.
