Brief synopsis of Samba De Amigo

Created exclusively for the Wii, this vibrant and addictive new game lets players shake to the beats of a samba-infused soundtrack comprised of popular new songs as well as fan-favourites from the original Dreamcast game. Playing as the grinning, sombrero-topped monkey, Amigo, players shake the Wii Remote and Nunchuk like maracas, in time with the visual beats of the music on-screen. The perfect party game, Samba De Amigo is packed with lively stages and a host of colourful characters.

Rated - 4 starsEnergetic fun

Great game that is equally as fun playing on your own as with friends. The music selection compromises of new popular tracks as well as some classic oldies that will have you jumping around in no time. The hustle mode adds some new far sweeping hand movements that will have your temperature rising in no time. The only down side to this game is the control sensitivity, the Nunchuk doesn't seem to always pick up your movements as well as the wii remote. All in all i would highly recommend this game for some energetic fun.

Rated - 2 starsNot as much fun as it should have been

The reviews were not wrong. The controller sensitivity IS an issue and does affect the gameplay. There are moments but despite all the brightly coloured visuals and funky (if weird choice of) music the game just seems to be lacking fun. If you want an arm flailing rhythm game you'd be better off with downloading Helix via WiiWare.

A good game to rent if you're waiting for something you really want, quite repetative after a while

Rated - 3 starsControllers let this game down

A customer from Warrington, England , 13/05/2009

The game itself is excellent but it's let down very badly by poor Wii controls. It's very difficult to get the hang of and the game often thinks you are 'striking a pose' when you're not.
