Brief synopsis of Supernatural - Season 3 - Complete

Dean and Sam Winchester are two brothers with a special talent. Well-versed in the supernatural after their father became convinced that their mother was captured by unholy spirits, Dean and Sam dedicated their young lives to hunting down these otherworldly terrors. But adulthood saw Sam drift away from these preternatural activities, instead choosing to settle down in a life of domestic bliss with his girlfriend. But when the Winchesters' dad goes missing, both Dean and Sam know what they have to do, leading to some epic cross-country trips as the brothers try to find their father. This release includes the complete third series.

SUPERNATURAL is unlike anything else out there and should build a following among viewers who appreciate its combination of spooky mythology and mystery adventure

Entertainment Weekly

The storylines are far-fetched, sure, but loosely based on 'truths' - swiping from urban legends like the Hook Man - which makes them all the more fun

Miami Herald

Padalecki and Ackles are hunky, funny and a joy to watch

Ok, so after two seasons of pure unadulterated coolness, season three had a lot to live up to. And it does, repeatedly. Not even the writers strike had too much of an effect (other than shortnening the whole thing down to 16 episodes from the usual 23).

The boys are on top form this year. Fans of the show will note how last season, Dean made a sacrifice to save his brother. This season see's a stellar performance from Jensen Ackles (Dean Winchester) as he comes to terms with his fate.

New characters are introduced and the show finally gives us a few small answers around the fire and Mary Winchester's death. Highlights this year include two characters returning for the hillarious reality TV style 'Ghostfacers'.

It's all a little darker and heavier this year, and deservedly so. The boys are facing some serious problems that rock salt cannot fix.

A brilliant, if a little short season, emcompassing everything we've come to know and love about the Winchester boys, then ramping up the ghoulies a touch. Good work all round!

A must see for all fans!

A great series and vast impovement of series 2, only slightly let down by some plot lines cut short because of the writer's strike. Not a dud episode in the series.

An absolute gem of a series, i had previously ignored the start of supernatural and renting dvd's allowed me to catch and it did not regret it one bit. the funny banter between brothers, the every changing story, horror drama just does not getting better than this, i hope this series never dies or if it does it resurrects back again....... scary mary

Rated - 5 starsFantastic show bringing the sexy back into spooky

This show is brilliant, I got into the 1st series a little late and then watched the re-runs. I was hooked straight away. The fact that the brothers are so cute especially Dean helps make this show unique. Its 'Buffy the vampire slayer' meets 'X-Files' but its better than both of those previous shows.

As the show moves along it is getting more scary.

I love that they bought in some female characters. 'Ruby' is a human turned demon who helps the brothers when they get themselves into sticky situations with demons and 'Bela' keeps testing Dean's patience although she obviously has a thing for Dean.

Watch and enjoy.
