Brief synopsis of The Incredible Hulk

The Incredible Hulk is getting a reboot this summer at the movies. It wouldn't be a great big green giant of a summer blockbuster without a video game to go with it, would it? SEGA, along with developer Edge of Reality, has kept the world turning and obliged.

The Incredible Hulk takes the movie and adds a little bulk. Not, thankfully, by irradiating it with with gamma radiation to the point where it turns green and starts smashing stuff, but by taking a big old dollop of materiel from the comics and stirring it in.

So, it's classic adventuring with oodles of super-strength combat and plenty of leaping round the cityscape.

Edge of Reality has kept much of what made the last Hulk game Ultimate Destruction good fun. Hulk can charge a jump while he's doing one of his great bounds through the city, making the next leap take him even higher, for example.

As the Hulk's rage meter fills up players can let fly with super-powered moves, such as the Earth shaking ground slam or the ear drum popping thunder clap. He also has one of the Green Goliath's lesser-known powers a healing factor. If you hadn't guessed, he's not too easy to kill.

Most importantly, however, Hulk can smash. As you rampage around New York (yes, New York, this is a Marvel game after all), you'll be able to total pretty much everything in sight, including famous New York landmarks.

If you ever find yourself wanting something to break, Hulk's your boy.

This is a Really fun game you can just run around smashing things up, but then the army comes after you and is quite annoying but fun at the time.

graphics are okay but could be better. gameplay is just like spiderman 3

and you can acctually bring the buildings down if u keep hacking at it.

throwing people for miles is fun too and punching them for miles.

the one thing that is not the good is jumping, he cant jump far and to get to places faster you have to bounce down the streets of new york (quite funny to watch)!

good unlockable and upgrade an you can heal yourself which is handy at times

so hulk is a good game to rent or buy but you might get bored after smashing things up for a while.

Rated - 2 starsGAME MAKE HULK MAD.

This game is alright for a short play through. Its a bit like GTA crossed with those old 80s rampage games where king kong crushes a skyscaper. The controls and camera can be poor and fiddly and after an hour the fun you get from smashing the scenery wears thin and you crave some gun action. Also im bored of sandbox games now as you do more walking than fighting. Better than those rubbish CGI films though.
