Brief synopsis of Psycho Beach Party

A mischievous beach-fest in the style of old 50s, 60s, and 70s thriller-beach party-slasher movies, Malibu-based PSYCHO BEACH PARTY follows a nearly invisible plot. Chicklet Forrest (Lauren Ambrose) is a wanna-be surfer girl with multiple personalities. When a series of murders takes place on the beach, Chicklet is a prime suspect, and Captain Monica Starck (Charles Busch in drag) arrives to interrogate the remaining set of eccentric beach-going revelers.

This film is worth seeing if only for Lauren Ambrose's performance - a million miles away from her (also brilliant) character Claire in 6 feet under. An absolute star turn.

Ive never written a review before but this is so bad that i felt compelled to warn you all. This film is set around the 50's and it looks as if it was recorded using equipment from that era. Theres no plot no gore and its just a mindless waste of living time watching it. Unlless you like watching paint dry dont rent it!
