A bit on the Dark Side

I love Star Wars games, the abilty to take control of your choice of Jedi/Sith/Bounty Hunter/Wookie or any other one of the countless inhabitants of George Lucas's universe is too good to resist.

Unfortunatly this latest offering on the DS is a little hard to master, and I'm no Padawan when it comes to video games.

The top screen of the DS is the actual game, and the bottom half is your Jedi controls, Lightsabre attack, Force Jump. Force Push et cetera, and by selecting the correct sequence of moves you can launch you attacks, however I feel that trying to control the character with the cross key, and attack with the stylus, and use the Left/Right buttons requires either a third hand or complete mastery of the Force itself to float the unit for you!

If you are new to the DS, or are thinking about getting this for a kid who loves Star Wars, I would recommend that you stick with the Lego version of the Saga, as this one is not an easy nut to crack.

I just hope the Wii version is a little less clunky, and lets you Unleash your inner Jedi!

The Force Just Flopped

I've always been a fan of Starwars Games, but this is a little bit of a let down. Entertaining for a while untill the repetitive nature of point kill point kill kicks in. The controls in this game are a bonus offering a varied style of gameplay to any other DS game on the market. Now for the graphics, respective that the DS has limited capabillities i thought that the graphics were mediocore, blocky unpolished character models and low frame rates throughtout make the gameplay that little less special. Apart from its faults it is an entertaining adition to the star wars family and if you want a game that will entertain you for a little while here it is.
