It’s got very poor acting and the lip synching is just awful plus it feels like it was designed more for under 12s then the older crowed. Graphics are nice, could be slightly more detailed. Also not a big fan of the hack and slash combat it & doesn’t really start with a good plot...

Brilliant game, I must admit having the manuel on the opening (and later) stages helps very much. Great Graphics And Story, nauturally the lip-synch is off - Japanese game english voices = Ouch. But anyone who turns the nose up to this because of lip-synch the have a reason for being in that asylum.

Great game, 4 stars.

Been waiting for the game for ages and sad to say its very disappointing . It feels rushed out before square's other RPG are released. The graphics are ok, in some parts they look very poor (the start of the game for example), another problem the gameplay is shallow for a RPG. Disc 1 can be completed in about 6 hours and the 2nd and final disc is probably the same but it feels like the developers try to extend the game as its not obvious at times where to go next or who to talk to. The combat is ok and the AI is pretty good but the rest of the game does not much up

The graphics arent exactly stunning so i don't know why people are saying that. Lip syncing is barely noticable since their mouths are a realistic size so that can't be used as an excuse to hate the game. The story is fairly good and the main character is relatable because he dosen't really care about saving the world. Gameplay does get a bit repetitive and special moves are only slightly better than regular slashing so regular slashing is all you will do. That makes combat very boring, plus the AIs complete willingness to heal you and trying to heal yourself mid battle is a mega death sentence.
