Brief synopsis of FaceBreaker

The renaissance of the arcade boxing genre is upon us. Created by the same team that developed the award-winning Fight Night Round 3, FaceBreaker offers irreverent fun, immersive gameplay and eye-popping stylised graphics. In this in-your-face, arcade world full of ego-wielding characters, each boxer comes to life with unique attributes and distinct personal style, including Romeo, a Latin lover known for his pelvic thrusts, and Molotov, an oversized Russian demolitions expert with a penchant for fighting dirty. Add a little personal motivation to your fight by uploading a photo of your face to create a realistic likeness using Photo Game Face, and go toe-to-toe with a real-life friend or foe.

Laugh out loud as you pummel your opponent with a barrage of blows to the face and watch in satisfaction as your progress is illustrated by real-time facial deformation. With haymakers, face shots and body blows, wait for the right moment to drop a super punch to make your presence known. In FaceBreaker, it just feels good to rearrange your opponent's face.

I have no idea why this game is called facebreaker,I reckon joypad breaker would have been a much more suitable title because all you have to do is bash your buttons for a few seconds and the fights over.I rented this game for my monthly games night with the lads because It's multiplayer and the comic style animation looked good for a bunch of rowdy blokes but it didn't even last ten minutes.Infact I could have woken my 3 year old son and he would have come downstairs and done just as well as his old man because as far as I can tell the speed,style or hardness of the button bashing has no outcome on the result of a fight what so ever.Overall I think spending a saturday morning trawling car boot sales to buy a slightly knackered old xbox and a dusty copy of ready 2 rumble would be more rewarding than wasting time and money on this rubbish.This game got binned quicker than Amir Khan.

Smashing your head against the wall is more fun.

Thought that this looked like a fun boxing game. But no this is one of the poorest games i have ever played and I've played a lot off games. This game requires no skill hammer the buttons faster than the other person and you win. The people who make this also made Fight Night 3 and that was ok, but in the end boring. I played this with my mate for about 15 minutes and after that we gave up. There is no fun or laughs in this and by putting the half naked ladies in for the under 13's is just cheap.

In the end steer well clear of this game.
