Jedis might get all the attention, but the real stars of the Star Wars universe have to be the Sith. Think about it: who’s more awesome, the goody-two-shoes farmboy, or the double-ended lightsaber wielding horror clown? Exactly. Now you don’t get to play as Darth Maul here, but you do get to play as a brand new apprentice to Lord Vader, and abusing the Force to decimate wookies, rebels and Stormtroopers alike is the pinnacle of evil fun.

The graphics and physics are exceptional, so when you use Force Grip to throw and enemy through a space station’s window and out into the vortex of space, it looks as awesome as it sounds. Chuck in a genuinely well-scripted and well-acted story, complete with beautiful cutscenes, and you’ve got the most impressive Star Wars experience since Knights of the Old Republic on the old Xbox.

The in-game camera occasionally places itself rather unhelpfully, and the Wii version's graphics don't compete with those on it's more powerful rivals, but Force Unleashed remains a great game even on the weaker platform. Not terrible, but nothing special. Plays like a PS2 game with tacked on Wii controls - and what should have been the highlight - using the Wiimote to control a lightsaber - is a real let down, no real skill, just flailing around the trigger a small number of pre-set attacks.

I rented this on behalf of my fella, as this isnt my kinda game, it arrived fortunately when both fella and my good self were of work and uni. My Wii moved to his house where i witnessed him changed from a fully grown man to raving loony over night. All well and good, but normally a game will take him maybe a 14 to 15 hours to complet a game, but for what this game costs new, it only took him 7 and a half hours. pretty pitiful, and i got sick of the foul language over the controllers! lol. He wasnt impressed. Both of us were glad we hadn't shelled out good money for it.

the only let down is the lightsabre action, we all thought, with the wii remote, this game would be awesome, and whilst the game itself is very good, and not difficult to play, the lightsabre moves dissapointingly, are not what they should be, you only use about four different moves, instead of having the freedom to weild your lightsabre naturally. That said, the force powers are excellent, you get a feeling of extreme naughtyness, as you give someone a jolt with the force lightning, and choke the proverbial out of people.
