I struggle to convey just how poor this game is - I can only see the most die-hard, blindfolded Tarantinophile getting anything from it at all. It is essentially a HD version of Max Payne, but with a jerky camera and no thought into the game environment. It has been built purely around 'bullet time' acrobatics without any thought of the movement or layout inbetween - it's like playing a tech demo for several hours. Avoid.

Ok, as of October 2009, you might still be waiting a while for this to arrive, but let me tell you, It's not worth it unless you just want to grind out some PS3 trophies. Playing Wet I didn't actually have fun, but I finished it out of pure bloody mindedness.

With a bit more devolper time spent on polishing up the rough edges, Wet could have been a classic game. I can't help feel Bethesda put a lot of love into this title but failed short of the mark. With it's twitchy control and its annoying loading times after dying and then rewatching the cut scenes, it will have you throwing your controller at the wall. It's not uncommon to die due to the clunky controls, watch the game reload, show you a flyby of the level, watch Rubi spin her gun, then jump to your death because you've been spamming 'X' for the last 25 seconds. It really is a very frustrating experience.

In game like Uncharted:Drakes fortune, when you try jumping from place to place, the game will pretty much assume what you are trying to accomplish. Unless you are grossly pushing the stick in another direction, Drake will do what you want. This gives an immensise feeling of fluidity, and enhances the feeling of being in control of your character. This fluidity is sadly lacking in Wet, and it's probably it's biggest flaw.

With a lot of work spent on the visuals, and the music, it still feels unfinished or as though it didn't go through quality control. Certainly not a purchase, and probably not even a rental.

This game is a horror! The game has terrible controls (particularly the ability to jump frm platforms to platforms), it has unlimited repetitiveness, it has limited kill scenes, glitch heaven (One example. I was cutting up one of those men with the gattling gun, till he fell from the platform. Because the guy has to be in a certain place in the level to trigger the kill scene; I had to restart the level! I was glad to post this back after 2days of receiving it! u want complete a game then this game is for u its nice and short lasts about 5hrs including the cut scenes you can't skip!
